If you would like your botanical (extract) without Glycerin look for "GF" (Glycerin Free) on the end of the name. Anywhere, on the website, where you see that designation it means that the botanical (extract) has been extracted without Glycerin.

When you're looking for top quality botanical extracts, you'll find them at Ingredients To Die For, without question. When you buy them from another supplier It's important to question the preservative system, and the base, of any extract. There are many extracts that are in an alcohol base, which don't require a preservative but, that doesn't make them good for your skin. If you wouldn't add alcohol to your product, do you really want to add an extract that is in a base of alcohol. In Herbal Medicine that is called a tincture. There are also many extracts that are in a petro chemical base, which does the extraction easier but, if you wouldn't add a petro chemical to your product, do you really want to add an extract that is in a petro base. Unfortunately, there is no standardization within the cosmetics industry so you won't know what you're getting until you ask.

At Ingredients To Die For we don't believe that the customer should have to wonder what's in their products, especially when you're looking for quality extracts that are used to set your product apart from the rest. We make it easy as we also believe in the Power of Plants to make the difference.

Usage: 2 to 20%
Add to Water (Hot or Cold) or at Cool Down

NOTE::Due to the minimal processing of our pure and natural botanical materials including: Oils, Butters, Hydrosols, CO2 and other plant Extracts, there may occasionally be some plant material (sediment) that is missed during processing. This will look like colored grit which will settle to the bottom of the container.This only needs to be filtered as it is used. We will always do our best to catch this and filter further to remove any sediment however, because of our policy to avoid heat we will not do this as a routine procedure. As this is the nature of pure and natural products we do not make any guarantee that any botanical materials will be free of plant material as most botanical materials are only filtered to remove solids. We make it a point to source our botanical materials from producers that practice minimal processing and that is just the nature of these materials.

When you need to create specialized composition statements / documents for your company then you will use the range of 0.1 - 10% for each individually listed plant extract.
